2 Vital Qualities For Success And We all Have Them

The energy of your Thought and Will Power are without doubt essential tools to success and all of us have both of them or at least the potential to develop them.

 

I am a great believer that we can develop qualities the same way we can develop muscles. It is all about the energy and the will power to get there. Have a plan, stick to it and find a way. The biggest obstacle we can find preventing us to achieve our dreams is ‘guess who’? Us… Weird? Yes, very much so. But I will tell you what happens in most people’s life and I am sure you will agree with me how weird it can be.

 

How many people do you know that follow the same routine over and over again, complain all the time but don’t do a thing to change? I call them ‘humanbots’. The ‘humanbots are especially famous for their same long New Year’s resolution list each year. So now tell me what is the biggest obstacle?

 

We are too special to act as robots. Little changes of habits will help a lot. Changing a very small fraction in our route can change completely our destination. Use your thoughts – your most precious and powerful source of energy – and your will power to make these changes. You must be thinking how the heck am I going to do that?

 

Train your mind, exercise your thoughts and make them work for you. When we do something over and over again it goes to our subconscious and then we can just work on automatic pilot. I am going to give a classic example so you can understand what I am talking about. When we drive or walk to a certain place everyday, if for some reason we need to go somewhere else we often end up taking the same route without realising it. The reason is our subconscious is doing the work for us. We are in the auto pilot mode.

 

Start with very little changes, keep in mind that if you can hold just one little change for a while it can make all the difference in your life. The change you decide to make will soon be part of your subconscious and that means you will soon be doing it in your auto pilot mode.  Then you can move on to bigger changes. Think about what you would like to change in your life, keep a notebook make a list if you like. Write in your notebook what your perfect life would be like.

 

Now use that time you have when you are having your shower or trying to sleep or driving to work to build in your mind the life you want to live with as much details as possible. Soon your subconscious will take it as truth and will find a way to make it happen, the same way it made you drive or walk to your usual destination.

 

Action is a very precious weapon that you have at your disposal to make things happen. Now you have to think about changes or new behaviours which must be implemented to get where you want to be. Go back to your notebook and write what you are going to change immediately to start your life change. It can be something very simple like: ‘I am not going to judge or criticise anyone for 3 hours a day’ or ‘instead of eating 2 donuts I am going to eat just one…’ It can be anything as long as you connect it with your dream life.

 

You are the only one entitled to control your life. If you are giving someone or something this irrevocable right, race to take it back and never let it go again.
